Why does the Midlands need bike, pedestrian, and transit infrastructure?

The South Carolina Midlands region is growing, but its prosperity depends on simple and sustained investment into neighborhood infrastructure and development. This includes creating varied transit choices that effectively connect people to what they value most – education, jobs, family, and opportunities. Small businesses thrive, our tax base increases, and neighborhoods become safer and closer when we prioritize creating complete communities where people and businesses want to be.

We are a community-run organization advocating for all ages & abilities to be able to walk, bike, and ride transit by promoting equitable access policy and infrastructure. We advocate for a more walkable, bikeable, and mass transit friendly Midlands.
